A town with an Alpine feel beside lakes of an impossible blue, surrounded by forests and mountains. In winter there's snow and in summer, clear water; and all year round, the most famous chocolate in Argentina.

Step into a chocolate factory and watch it being made
Ride the chairlift up Cerro Campanario for the best view
Play in the snow or splash at the lakeshore, depending on the season
Look for the Arrayanes Forest, with its cinnamon-colored trunks

Accessibility: All ages. In winter, snow clothes; in summer, the lake water is cold but lovely to enjoy from the shore.
