A castle of pointed towers on a rock in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania, often wrapped in fog. Inside it has narrow passages, secret staircases, and period rooms, and from outside it looks straight out of a vampire tale.

The pop wink

This castle is called «Dracula's castle», though the truth is gentler: the writer Bram Stoker never visited it and only drew on descriptions of Transylvania for his 1897 novel. The link is more legend than history, and that's how it should be told.
